JARVIS

JARVIS is my private, voice-operated personal assistant. It runs on a repurposed HP Elite Slice in my home and combines local automation with carefully controlled online tools.

SYS.01

Local home control

Connects to Home Assistant for lights, heating, scenes, status, and other explicitly configured devices.

SYS.02

Voice assistance

Uses a local wake word and starts cloud processing only when a conversation or online task needs it.

SYS.03

Document workspace

Creates and reads documents in a dedicated Google Drive folder used only for JARVIS tasks.

Google Drive access

JARVIS uses a separate Google account and a dedicated folder called JARVIS Workspace. The integration is designed to create and work with documents in that workspace, without providing access to my normal personal Drive.
